Hello!
It has been awhile since we have communicated. Hope all of you in Targu Lapus had a great spring break! I wanted to let you know that Mr. Max is coming to speak to my class tomorrow (Wednesday). I told Ms. Ciupe that I would put a post on the blog to let you know. I know he would be excited to hear from all of you in Targu Lapus and would love to answer any questions you might have. Please post your questions. I will be filming his talk and will post portions of it here. I really wish we could Skype while he visits, but there is an 8 hour time difference. Hope to hear from you. Post your questions!!!
Ms. McDonald
Hello! I would like to know if Max saw any pictures of Targu Lapus as it is today and if so, did he recognize any places from his childhood ? And regarding his horrible experience, how did he feel when everything ended, knowing he had to rebuild his life ? Was he scared for his future?
ReplyDeleteHi, since i found out about Max's story and all the horrible things he went through i have been wondering what gave him that much strength, what kept him going?
ReplyDeleteHe was taken away from his friends and his family was taken away from him in the blink of an eye, without any warning, and so i wonder what were like the last hours that he spent with his parents?
About his life today, does he feel fulfilled?
Hi!I`m courious to know if Max saw Josef Mengele, the "Angel of Death" and if he heard about his experiments? How he felt when he was safe immediately after escape?
ReplyDeleteHello! I can only imagine that such an awful experience as the one Max lived changed his life completely. Apart from what my friends had already asked I would like to know if he had any ambitions for the future before being taken away. He was young, probably hopeful considering what life has to offer him, like most people of that age and the Holocaust changed this. Did he succeed in achieving what he aimed for at a young age or did his needs change after that experience?
ReplyDeleteThank you so much for responding! Multumesc. :) All of you are awesome! I will ask Max these questions, film his responses, and post it on the blog.
ReplyDeleteHello!I'm very impressed by Max's life story and I would like to know why he didn't choose to spend the rest of his life (after the Holocaust ) in Israel ?
ReplyDeleteI would like to know how was: How was learning english for him?

ReplyDeleteHello! I try to imagine those terrible treatments and the suffering inside that area but I'd like to know when were the moments when they felt frightened the most. Did it exist a "worst" way to be punished?
ReplyDeleteHi!I am very curious if Max have ever met someone who survived the Holocaust, and have a similar story?
ReplyDeleteHello! I don't think there is any way for us to imagine what Max had gone through, but the thing I would like to know the most is what was he thinking the moments when he was trying to sleep? Were there any moments when he lost his hope and will to survive?
ReplyDeleteHi! I have been wondering, after losing your parents and sister, your brother was all you had left. How did you feel after losing him as well?
ReplyDeleteHello! All of us from Targu Lapus have heard about Max's story and I do not think that someone could ever imagine what he had been through.I would like to ask Max how does he think that his life could have been if there weren't any of those horrbile things? Would he like to come here in Targu Lapus and see what have changed?
ReplyDeleteHello! I would like to know if Max could tell me a special memory or something personal about his life before the Holocaust, a memory which makes him happy now. Probably there were certain things he thought about during the Holocaust, things that made him stronger and helped him to get over that drama. Which were those?
ReplyDeleteHello! It is said that Holocaust is one of the worst genocides in history and the resilience displayed by those who lived through the Nazis' brutal reign shows the strength of the human spirit. In this case, I would like to know how a Holocaust survivor sees today's world tragedies. Can somenthing be compared to the horror of the Holocaust?
ReplyDeleteHello! How did your life change after the holocaust ? Do you cherish more the life after this terrible event?
